One in, one out

Every investment of time and energy I make on a new goal requires something else to be sacrificed in order to make space for it, with or without noticing it.

This is hard to accept, particularly when it comes to something I’m passionate about or excited to pursue.

But without making those internal and external tradeoffs, I can easily become overwhelmed and feel like I’m spinning my wheels.

This is why for the upcoming year, it is important for me to take stock of both my current goals and any new projects I’m looking to pursue.

I decided to reflect on the long-term impact of each goal and the resources needed to make them a reality and don’t include anything that isn’t essential to my overall vision.
